About Me
I started out of curiosity. Same reason I am still here.
I started programming at 15, as a hobby and entirely self-taught: small programs in PHP, jQuery, JavaScript and MySQL, built on documentation, forums and breaking things until they worked. 14 years later I still learn the same way.
Today I build web applications with React and Node.js, Shopify stores and WordPress sites. I also integrate artificial intelligence into real workflows: chatbots with Claude and OpenAI, automation with n8n and custom agents.
Of everything I've done, the work I'm proudest of wasn't for a client. In 2020 I kept the IT infrastructure running for the United Nations peacekeeping mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, with the Guatemalan Army special forces contingent: 150 people connected, where going down wasn't an option. I brought back an idea I apply to everything I build: infrastructure only gets noticed when it fails. The same goes for a store, a website or an AI agent.
